music

the child's first introduction to music at Asbury.
Angela Roberts graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hospitality Management with a Music Education Minor. She studied voice for six years (primarily opera), and traveled with the Southern Chorale, a University of Southern Mississippi ensemble of elite singers, singing solos in Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic on their European Tour. She has also sung in New York’s Avery Fisher Hall, as well as concerts in Chicago and various other Southern and South Eastern States. Angela is a talent award winner and first runner up in the 2000 Miss Mississippi pageant (a state preliminary to Miss America).
Angela is married to Mick, mother of two preschool-aged children and a stay-at-home mom. She has been the Co-Director of GLORY Ringers at Asbury since 2009, and currently the Co-Director of Asbury’s Little Mozarts. She is also a member of the select Asbury ensemble, One Voice, a Celtic Vocal Ensemble; and has done a fair amount of vocal solo work.

Dana Bisker was raised in Salisbury Maryland, the oldest in a family of five. A stay-at-home mother of two, Alex and Emma. Dana has taught public school for eight years (First, Second and Fourth Grades) at Prince Street Elementary School and Willards Elementary School, prior to her first child, Alex, being born.
