Jubilate Bells

Jubilate Bells began in 1989 under the direction of Taylor Harvey, with eight women from the Koinonia Circle. Ed Gillenardo directed the group for one year in 1995, with Sharon Birch assuming leadership for the ensemble in 1996. Under Sharon's direction the ensemble has grown to its present 15 members and incorporates ringers from college through midlifers. Jubilate participates in all worship services, ringing once to twice monthly from September through May. For the past 15 years, Jubilate has shared their Christmas music at the annual Whitehaven Christmas Service which concludes with a Christmas dinner.
