Music is a vital force
at Asbury. It serves to proclaim the Gospel, support corporate
worship, adorn the liturgy and educate, both spiritually and culturally,
the congregation and the wider community.
The Asbury Chancel Choir, Praise Bands,
Singing Choirs, Bell Choirs, Soloists, Liturgical Interpretive Ensemble,
and the Orchestra work diligently every week to offer their best to
God and the parish community in their service of worship. They develop
their own musical and spiritual abilities as they support and enrich
the prayer and spiritual life of the congregation.
Participants in Asbury’s Music Ministries
represent a wide range of experience and ability from children having
their first organized musical training to professional musicians.
