Welcome to Asbury!
Welcome to Asbury United Methodist Church of Salisbury! Our church has been part of this community since 1778. We are a church that wants to put our faith into action by sharing the good news of Christ in word and deed.
If you are new to our community and/or do not have a church home, we invite you to attend one of our three worship services, to participate in any of the fellowship or learning opportunities, or to join a group in service and mission (local and global). In other words, we want you to know that you are always welcome, and we want to be a part of your faith journey.

Sunday Mornings
Regular Schedule
We have three different Worship Services to choose from every Sunday! Join us at 8:00 AM in the Sanctuary for our Early Morning Asbury (EMA) service for a reflective Traditional service. Over in the Fellowship Hall at 8:45 AM, our Come As You Are (CAYR) service provides a Casual service with Modern worship selections (feel free to bring your coffee!). Lastly, our Festive Worship at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary for a Traditional service with the Chancel Choir.
At 10:00 AM, feel free to join any of our Sunday School or Bible Study groups! For more information on Sunday School for PreK-5th Grade, click HERE. For more information on Sunday School for 6th-12th Grade, click HERE. For more information on our Adult Bible Study groups, click HERE.
Nursery care is available for infants through age 8 in Room 122 during all worship services. Accommodations are available in the Sanctuary for individuals with hearing loss. Accessible entrances are available at entrances for both services.
Summer Schedule
Our Summer service schedule begins Memorial Day weekend and concludes Labor Day weekend.
At 8:45 AM, our Garden Service provides a casual worship experience in the Memorial Garden, accessible from the South parking lot. This service features a variety of modern and traditional praise music. In the case of inclement weather, this service will be held in the Sanctuary.
During the Summer, our Festive Worship moves to 10:00 AM in the Sanctuary!
While there are no Sunday School or Bible Study groups during the Summer we do still have Nursery care available for infants through age 5 in Room 122.
