Children’s Ministries
During Worship…
We love having children of all ages in worship, but we also know sometimes you need something more to help your youngest family members engage on Sunday mornings.
Grab a children’s bulletin from our Usher’s and Greeters! These change weekly and feature fun activities based on the morning’s scripture.
Children’s Bulletins
Children’s Message
Join Ms. Heather up front to find out “What’s in the box today?” and learn about today’s scripture.
Children in K - 5th Grade are welcome to attend Children’s Church following the Children’s Message. Led by staff, this class meets in Room 114A (next to the Soul Café) and features lessons built around the sermon theme.

Safe Sanctuary
Safe Sanctuary is a movement in the United Methodist Church to ensure that all children/youth/vulnerable adults and the adults who care for them and work with them are safe.
At the October 14, 2009 Leadership Team meeting, members voted to implement Safe Sanctuary Guidelines at Asbury United Methodist Church, effective December 31, 2009. The guidelines follow the suggestions found in the resource “Safe Sanctuaries for Youth: Reducing the Risk of Abuse in Youth Ministries” by attorney Joy Thornburg Melton. This resource is used by The United Methodist Church in its Safe Sanctuaries training.
