Advent at Asbury

What is Advent?

Advent is the season in the church before Christmas. It is a time of preparation and waiting. ‘Advent’ means ‘arrival’ or ‘to come to.’ During this time, we are waiting and preparing for the birth of Christ.

Each of the four Sundays of Advent has a theme: hope, peace, joy, and love.

This year, Asbury will be exploring each of these themes within our Advent study of:
‘What Do You Fear?’
